Employees are a key element in the growth of the Company and its Subsidiaries, particularly in producing innovative products that meet high standards. Skilled and knowledgeable employees are essential to ensuring high-quality products and the best services, which contribute to the positive image of the Company in the eyes of the public. Therefore, the Company manages its employees professionally by maintaining harmonious industrial relations, ensuring gender equality and equal employment opportunities, implementing employee competency development programs, and providing a competitive remuneration system.

To create a conducive and safe work environment for all employees, the Company and its Subsidiaries provide various Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) support facilities. Key steps taken include the provision of mandatory OHS equipment and facilities, the establishment of the Occupational Health and Safety Committee (P2K3), and supervision by OHS experts.

The Company and its Subsidiaries also conduct regular health check-ups for employees engaged in high-risk tasks and perform checks on domestic and liquid waste through third-party services. Regular disinfection spraying is carried out throughout the factory and office areas to maintain cleanliness and prevent the spread of disease. To support workplace safety, the Company provides portable fire extinguishers (APAR) and conducts training on their use in collaboration with the Fire Department.

Hazard warning guidelines are posted at each worksite. Routine testing of generator emissions is carried out, evacuation routes are updated, and drinking water filtration systems are provided. Employees are also equipped with smoke detectors, personal protective equipment (PPE), handwashing facilities, and back support belts to promote spinal health.

The Company is maintaining the stability and continuity of its workforce by implementing effective human resource management policies. To ensure operational sustainability and employee development, the Company periodically analyses employee turnover rate to understand the trend of workforce movement and formulate strategies to boost employee retention and productivity.

The Company and its Subsidiaries also measure the level of employee engagement and dedication to work and the organization through an employee engagement index (EEI) survey as well as providing channels to receive complaints related to labor issues.

Through its Subsidiaries, the Company implements local community development programs that include various initiatives, such as providing education and training, collaborating with various institutions, as well as donations and the improvement of social facilities and infrastructure. These programs are designed to support the enhancement of the quality of life of the surrounding community and strengthen the capacity of local communities.

As part of the commitment to empower communities around the operational areas, the Company and its Subsidiaries recruit local workforce that meets the qualifications to join the company. This initiative aims to provide employment opportunities for the local community and support local economic growth. In addition, the Company and its Subsidiaries prioritize providing opportunities to local entrepreneurs, especially those located around the operational areas, as long as quality, pricing, and established goals are met. The supplier selection process is conducted in accordance with the applicable procurement procedures, with an emphasis on transparency, accountability, and equality for all suppliers.

The Company and its Subsidiaries conduct product safety evaluations to ensure the quality and safety received by consumers. Before being marketed, each product undergoes a series of quality tests. These quality tests include inspections at each production stage to ensure that the products meet the established standards.

The Company and its Subsidiaries conduct consumer satisfaction surveys to ensure that the products and services provided meet customer expectations. The survey is conducted online, making it easy for consumers to provide feedback quickly and conveniently. The indicators used in the survey include product aspects, pricing, distribution channels/locations, and promotions. The Company also provides a consumer complaint mechanism accessible via email at trisulabrand.care@trisula.com. All complaints related to products and services are directly handled by the Sales and Merchandiser Department to ensure timely and appropriate responses. Each complaint and the corresponding resolution are systematically documented and utilized as a basis for evaluating and improving service quality.

The Company and its Subsidiaries engage business partners, including suppliers, to meet operational needs through a fair, transparent, and corruption-free selection process. Every relationship with suppliers is formalized in a work contract based on mutual agreement and best procurement practices. The Company also provides opportunities for collaboration with local suppliers to support the economic development of communities in operational areas. Local suppliers are defined as those domiciled within the same area as the Company’s operations.

The Company and its Subsidiaries conduct supplier satisfaction surveys to evaluate performance based on several key criteria, such as product quality, delivery timeliness, pricing, material packaging, and other relevant factors. These surveys aim to ensure strong supplier relationships, identify strengths, and areas for improvement.

All suppliers of the Company and its Subsidiaries have the right to report complaints in the event of a breach of procurement contract agreements by either party. Complaints can be submitted through the Purchasing Department. Each report received will be handled professionally and followed up in accordance with applicable laws and regulations to ensure fair and transparent resolution of issues.

Green industry refers to an approach that prioritizes sustainability and inclusivity in every aspect of the production process. By emphasizing efficiency and effectiveness in resource utilization, the green industry aims to balance industrial growth with environmental preservation. Implementing green industry practices involves meeting several technical requirements, including the efficient and renewable use of raw materials, energy, and water optimizing production processes, and developing products that meet high-quality standards. Additionally, proper waste management in compliance with environmental standards and reducing greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions are integral to green industry practices.

Another critical aspect of the green industry is the emphasis on sustainable and durable design. The Company and its Subsidiaries consider product sustainability from the design stage to end processing, supporting the concept of long-lasting apparel and promoting more responsible consumption patterns. Through innovation and environmental awareness, the Company and its Subsidiaries strive not only to produce high-quality products but also to build a future where textile production aligns harmoniously with environmental conservation efforts.

As a company committed to sustainability and energy efficiency, the Company and its Subsidiaries utilize various energy sources in their operations. Each energy source plays a vital role in supporting production processes and corporate activities while ensuring a more environmentally friendly resource management approach.

The Company and its Subsidiaries implement various measures to optimize water usage in support of sustainability. These initiatives include reusing cooling water from production processes, recycling wastewater, and utilizing condensate water as boiler feedwater. The Company also treats reverse osmosis (RO) wastewater for cleaning canteens and uses retention ponds to collect rainwater and groundwater.

The Company via its Subsidiaries has planted trees, as part of its greening initiative to improve the air quality and supporting carbon absorption. In addition, to sustain water conservation, the Company is making biopore holes and infiltration/refill wells in stages, which overall contribute to better rainwater management, reduce the risk of flooding, and increase the groundwater supply.

Biodiversity is a critical element in maintaining ecosystem balance and ensuring the survival of various species. For the Company and its Subsidiaries, the operational areas are not located near protected areas or regions with significant biodiversity, ensuring that their operational activities do not negatively affect these environments.

However, the Company and its Subsidiaries recognize the importance of participating in global efforts to mitigate climate change risks. Therefore, the Company supports programs aimed at reducing carbon footprints and minimizing overall environmental impact. This includes the adoption of eco-friendly technologies, efficient waste management, and emission reductions in the production process.

The Company and its Subsidiaries demonstrate a commitment to environmentally friendly production practices by p*rioritizing the use of safe and sustainable materials*. The chemicals and dyes used in production comply with international certifications such as OEKO-TEX, Eco Passport, and Bluesign, ensuring that products are free from harmful substances and do not negatively impact the environment.

Additionally, the Company and its Subsidiaries use 100% eco-friendly chemicals and refrigerants that meet sustainability standards, with 50% of the refrigerants being environmentally friendly. This approach not only ensures that the products are safe for consumers but also helps reduce the overall environmental impact. Products such as threads, trousers, and jackets manufactured by the Company are supported by these certifications and materials to meet sustainability standards and promote the circular economy.

As a part of its daily operations, the Company's usage of paper and tissue reflects the administration, documentation, and cleaning facilities needs in work environment. The Company is still striving to optimize the resource use efficiency, including implementing the digitalization policy in some administration aspects to reduce the dependence on paper. Also, monitoring and management of tissue usage is also conducted to ensure efficiency without reducing employee comfort.

Generated from its operational processes is managed safely and in compliance with applicable laws and regulations. Solid waste classified as hazardous and toxic (B3) is handled with care to prevent negative impacts on the environment and public health.

The management of non-B3 solid waste at the Company is carried out with a responsible approach and in compliance with applicable regulations. Although this waste is not classified as hazardous and toxic, its management remains important to minimize negative environmental impacts and support sustainability practices. Below are the waste management efforts carried out by the Company and its subsidiaries for each type of non-B3 solid waste.

The liquid waste generated from production is treated through a wastewater treatment plant (WWTP) that utilizes a combination of biological, chemical, and physical processes. This ensures that the effluent produced meets strict quality standards. The effluent is routinely monitored and tested every month, both through internal testing and by an independent laboratory accredited by the National Accreditation Committee (KAN).

The Company and PT Trisula Textile Industries Tbk measure the total emissions generated as well as the emission intensity from operational activities. The measurements are conducted to monitor emission trends over the past few years.

The Company and its Subsidiaries routinely conduct emission level measurements every semester. These measurements include monitoring various key parameters, such as air pollution control, odor standards, noise levels, and emission quality standards for stationary sources, such as boilers and generators.

As part of its responsibility for emission control, the Company targets a 2.5% reduction in Greenhouse Gas (GHG) Emissions every year through a measurable and sustainable strategy. To ensure the effectiveness of this control, the Company has established a dedicated management team responsible for overseeing the implementation of emission reduction initiatives.

The Company provides a complaint mechanism to address environmental issues transparently and effectively. Any environmental complaints can be submitted to the head office or the factory where the company operates.

Once the complaint is received, a dedicated team from the Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) department will verify, investigate, and take follow-up actions in accordance with internal policies and applicable regulations. The HSE team is responsible for ensuring that each issue is addressed professionally and provides sustainable solutions to minimize environmental impacts. The Company also guarantees the confidentiality of the complainant’s identity and ensures that all complaints are handled transparently.

In its efforts to preserve the environment and minimize the negative impacts of operational activities, the Company recognizes the importance of environmental cost management. Environmental costs include various expenses incurred to address, reduce, and mitigate the environmental impacts of the company’s activities.
