KONTAN.CO.ID – JAKARTA. Trisula Group continues to pursue ongoing innovation to enhance the company’s performance in the future. One of the initiatives to achieve this goal is through its annual event, the WOW Innovation Award, a competition held by Trisula Group.
The WOW Innovation Award is a competition open to all Trisula Group employees, aimed at fostering innovations that can bring about positive change aligned with the company’s strategy,” said President Director of PT Trisula International Tbk (TRIS), Santoso Widjojo, in an official statement on Friday (March 11).
For your information, Trisula Group is an integrated textile and garment company consisting of two publicly listed entities, namely PT Trisula International Tbk (TRIS) and PT Trisula Textile Industries Tbk (BELL).
The WOW Innovation Award 2021 was held in a hybrid format—both online and offline—at The Dome, Eldorado Family Club, Bandung, on March 10, 2022.
In its second year, BELL successfully won three Best Innovation Awards, selected from nine finalist teams.
The first innovation was the implementation of the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system at BELL’s textile distribution subsidiary, as part of the company’s preparation to enter the Industry 4.0 era.
The second was an initiative to enhance the efficiency of wastewater treatment plant (IPAL) operations through process innovation, which resulted in cost savings.
The third innovation involved applying a new dyeing process method to improve productivity and achieve greater cost efficiency.
BELL’s Corporate Secretary, R. Nurwulan Kusumawati, stated that the company will continue to seek opportunities and develop innovations to produce high-quality products supported by continuous process improvement.
“BELL is proud to be selected as one of the top three winners in this year’s awards. This achievement reflects how our innovations contribute to embracing Industry 4.0 and enhancing efficiency in production processes,” she said.
Both TRIS and BELL continue to strengthen performance and drive innovation through various strategies. For instance, BELL has been developing diverse products such as stretch fabrics, health fabrics, health jackets, and more.
In addition, in response to the Industry 4.0 era, Trisula Group has also innovated by launching the e-commerce website Yukshopping.com, which serves as an integrated platform to sell Trisula Group’s products.
These efforts are reflected in the performance of both companies. BELL recorded an unaudited online sales growth of 38.4% year-on-year (YoY) throughout 2021 (figures before elimination).
On the other hand, TRIS has also formulated various plans and strategies to be implemented in 2022 to further improve its performance.
